Spelling Bee Competition

Make that Happen Foundation, on the 13th February organized a Quiz and Spelling bee Competition for schools around Fourahbay community. The purpose of this program is for the Foundation to identify students worthy of having scholarship from the Foundation. Six primary schools took part in the spelling bee, which are Fatima Preparatory School, Raheem Islamic School, Sulaimania School, Eastend Municipal School, Raigarb Islamic School and Jamiatul Haq School. The schools that took first and second place in the competition are Fatima Preparatory School and Raheem Islamic School. Two students from each school will be given a full year Scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year.

For the quiz competition, we had only two secondary schools that participated, which are Cambridge High School and Federation Islamic Secondary School. Cambridge high school took the first position. Two students from each school will receive a yearly scholarship for the 2020/2021 academic year.

The day for the program we distributed schools materials to pupils that participated in the quiz and spelling bee competition.

As a foundation we are trying to include excellency and proficiency among school going children.
